Marketing Assistant (Casual)
📍 Mornington Peninsula | Flexible Hours
We're looking for a creative, hands-on Marketing Assistant to join our growing fashion brand.
This is a casual role to start, with the potential to grow into a larger position for the right person who can demonstrate their ability to contribute to brand growth and deliver results.
About the Role
You'll work closely with our founder to bring marketing campaigns to life across social media, email marketing, and digital channels.
This is a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll need to be proactive, highly organised, and able to work quickly without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for social media
- Film and edit short-form video content (Reels, Stories, TikTok-style content)
- Design graphics and marketing assets in Canva
- Develop and maintain a forward-planned marketing calendar to support campaign execution, product launches, and key brand initiatives
- Execute and schedule social media content according to the marketing calendar
- Assist with campaign launches, promotions, and product releases
- Capture behind-the-scenes content and product imagery
- Support email marketing and digital campaigns
- Help maintain a consistent and elevated brand aesthetic across all touchpoints
Essential Skills & Experience
✔ Advanced Canva skills (professional level)
✔ Strong video filming and editing skills
✔ Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and current social media trends
✔ Ability to follow and execute a social media strategy
✔ Exceptional attention to detail
✔ Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong organisational and communication skills
✔ Self-motivated and able to work independently
Bonus Points
- Experience working with a fashion, retail or lifestyle brand
- Photography skills
- Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo or Meta Ads
